Introducing the Consent Blueprint Communication Slate
Have you ever finished a negotiation and realized you forgot to ask the person’s name? Or been in the middle of a scene and forgotten if it was the left arm or the right arm you weren’t supposed to leave marks on? This used to happen to me all the time. Not only did I forget what I wanted to ask and what people told me, but negotiation was overwhelming and scary because I had to juggle asking questions, the answers to those questions, how to communicate experience, and have an informed discussion about risk. All while trying to carry on an intelligible conversation. Needless to say, my negotiations were train wrecks for years!
Finally, I decided to make a tool that could help me
This tool is designed to help me remember the questions I want to ask during negotiations and to help me take notes on the things I want to remember. Once I started using this, my negotiations transformed from panic-filled sprints to “just get through them” to calm, centered conversations where I finally had the headspace to slow down and use my tools.
It’s made from a custom scuba-diving slate, which means it’s not only durable and impact-resistant but also absolutely waterproof! It’s taken me years and many prototypes to get to this version, but it’s finally ready for the public!

Take your negotiation checklist anywhere! Not only do you get the checklist from the Consent Blueprint for reference in the field, but I’ve provided slots to make your own checklist items or questions you want to ask!
UV Reactive text
I specifically designed the checklist with white text on a black background so it would react to UV light. This allows you to consult your list even in a dark dungeon without shining a bright, disruptive flashlight in the space

The back of the slate gives you lots of room to take notes during negotiation, write reminders to yourself, or draw a fun picture!
Absolutely waterproof
This slate was originally designed to be written on underwater by scuba divers. Your notes and checklists are safe from whatever fluids you throw at them

Easily erases
Any marks made with graphite are designed to be easily erased when you’re done. This lets you use the slate over and over again for years. Graphite only please, pens and ink will mark the slate permanently

The included elastic retainer and durable plastic mean this slate can get tossed around in your bag without getting damaged
